Founded by Ali Patterson, a dedicated mother and experienced professional with over a decade in the Health and Social Care sector, CYP Advocacy is built on both professional expertise and deeply personal insight. Ali holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Health and Social Care and brings a compassionate, informed approach to every family she supports.
Ali’s journey into education advocacy began with her own lived experience—navigating the often complex world of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) for her own child. Through this, she recognised how overwhelming and isolating the process can feel for parents and carers. Determined to turn challenges into change, she founded CYP Advocacy to guide others through similar paths with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
