Disability Benefits

Child Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

DLA  benefit www.gov.uk/disability-living-allowance-children 

You can apply by post or request a form via the DWP helpline.

Who can apply?
Parents or guardians of children under 16 who have physical or mental health conditions requiring extra care or mobility support.


Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

What is it?
PIP helps people aged 16 and over with the extra costs of living with a long-term health condition or disability.

  • 🔗 Apply for PIP

  • 📞 You will need to start your application by phone and then complete a form about how your condition affects you.

Key Info:

  • PIP is replacing DLA for those aged 16+.

  • It consists of two components: daily living and mobility.
